Was the Spanish American War a "Just" War?

Spanish War-Out Line
How did the U.S treat Cuba after winning the Spanish War?

 · “The United States would not remove their troops from Cuban land until they accepted the Platt amendment.”
· McKinley set up a U.S military government to take control of the island.
· “The United States intervened to restore order and set up a government under U.S control.”
Cubans believed that the U.S was there mainly for economic, business interest.
· “Some Cubans hated the U.S intervention, which they saw as imperialist.”
· “The U.S helped clean up public schools by providing people with basic services like picking up garbage, and going to school.”
· “The United States insisted that their constitution include something called the PLATT AMENDMENT.
*Cuba did not have the right to borrow freely form any other foreign powers.*The United States could intervene Cuban affairs.*The United States could set up two military bases on the island.

The American imperialists believed in telling people what to do, controlling them....They don't care about what other people think or say. They really don't care about anybody but themselves
Yes, I do believe that the Spanish American war is justified as a Just War because the U.S helped Cuba defeat Spain. Overall I do not agree with the way the U.S acted after the war because the U.S controlled Cuba for a wile. The United States believes that they have the power or the right to do whatever they want in Cuban land or with the Cuban because they helped defeat Spain."The U.S would not move their troops from Cuba until they had accepted the Platt amendment they had put up for them. McKinley had send soldiers to Cuba to take over the island. The U.S jumped into the situation to give back order and set up a government under U.S control. The Cubans had believed that the U.S soldiers were there because of economic interest. Some Cubans saw this as imperialism Overall the U.S helped clean up public schools by providing people with basic services like picking up garbage(Etc.)
