Why do we buy junk food? Why is fast food cheaper than fruits and vegetables? How can we change our diets? Government Subsidies are funding that are given to big factory farms. Government subsidies should go to fruits and vegetables, instead of only corn and soy farms. I believe so because fruits and vegetables could lead us to live longer and have a healthy body and heart. Government subsidies could be better for the people if the government gives them to healthy crops. Sugar and corn can damage our bodies in many ways. We can develop diabetes, we can gain a lot of wait and become lazy. Last but not least we can get many diseases from meat or any other crops that contain corn. Cows are supposed to eat grass not corn. If cows eat a lot of corn they can get sick and develop Ecoli. These diseases can affect us just like diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease, hypertension or osteoarthritis; does, if we don't watch what we are eating.
