Random Thoughts =)

1: Don't eat in class because than the teacher will make you through it out and that's wasting your food. 2: Don't chew gum in class because gum isn't allowed in school.The teacher will make you spit it out.If you don't throw it out you will get in trouble. 3: Don't pass notes in class because you will get caught no matter how secretive you think you are. 4: don't turn in your assignments late because you loose points. 5: don't get distracted because you wont know what your assignment is and you wont know what to do. It happened to me and I had to ask a classmate that was listening. 6: don't get into some stupid argument that's pointless and not important you will get into trouble. 7: don't scream or talk back to the teacher because there are consequences.

What I'm gonna miss the most is the teachers because they really pushed me and helped me to understand. I'm gonna miss my friends because they were always there near me. I'm gonna miss Ms. Rowe, Ms. Shah, Mr. Locker, Ms. Tynan, Ms. Peynado and the rest of the staff. I really got use to UNMS . The memories that will stay with me is the prom, school dances and the trips like the ice skating trip and the senior trip to six flags New England. I felt more comfortable in UNMS . The best class was 802 because we worked together as a class and we didn't have that many problems. I'll miss UNMS completely:) It's a great school!

1: I never really revised my writing but I always do it now. 2: I never really moved any of my sentences around that didn't go with the paragraph. 3: I never used different words or more specific words. 4: I didn't explain myself that much in my writing but now I do. 5:When I write at times I write the same word twice and it doesn't make sense.

I never really liked writing. I didn't like writing that much until like the 4 Th grade. Then after a while I started to hate it again. When I got to 8 Th grade I started to like it again. I use to repeat myself and than it wouldn't make any sense so I worked on my writing and I improved a lot. I wrote about many different subjects. When i use to write essays it didn't work out for me because I didn't really write any good essays but this year I can write a good essay about something that I know or learned about. This year I worked hard on my writing because it's important and I enjoy writing most of the time. I like writing about my day and memories about the 8 Th grade. I can pretty much write about anything that I know. I guess I like writing because both my parents like it and enjoy it. I hate when my writing doesn't make sense it annoys me and I fix it. In the past I never really enjoyed reading until the 8 Th grade. In 7 Th grade reading wasn't that interesting to me it was always boring.One week before school started my mom was reading a book and I would always think about why my mom enjoyed reading until I decided to ask her. My mom said "Reading helps relax me and when I read an interesting book I get attached and I wanna finish the book to know what happened." When I started 8 Th grade I didn't really want to Read .When my teachers Ms. Shah and Mr. Locker did the book share I got to hear about different varieties of books. There's a lot of books that I want to read I put them all on my good reads to- read shelf. I look at my friends good reads books that they read and I add some of them on my to-read shelf. When it was October I got more into reading because it was fun. When I go to the library I already know what shelf to look at. To me reading is relaxing and enjoyable. When I'm bored I read a goo...

I will always indent. I will always control my capitalization.(capitalize the names Etc...) I would always re-read my work at least two times. I will always revise and edit my work. Give details explain what I mean in each paragraph I write.

No gum Do as Mr. Locker and Ms. Shah say. Try to finish your work before it is due. Take your time and don't rush through anything. Make sure to be the bigger person in any chaotic situation. Have fun(but not too much) Be respectful Make sure you put your voice in everything you write.

In the past six or seven months I’ve improved my writing a lot. Today I know how to select important details/evidence to write a well written essay. Today I know how to separate full  page of words into a couple of paragraphs. Today I know how to make a point with everything I write, or say. Today I also know how to write in formal English. I’m not great at it but I’m getting there. Being in Ms. Shah’s and Mr. Locker’s class helped me a lot with my writing, reading, and to become a better person. I really appreciate everything they have done to get me where I’m at now. (Graduating from the 8 Grade.) Ms. Shah and Mr. Locker  have taught me a lot. They never let me back down on anything not even when I say I can’t do this,Or this is too hard for me.They have taught me to never let anyone tell me that I can’t do something. Reading is not something I like to do. (Not at all) In the 7th Grade I wasn’t the kind of person who really liked reading. I use to hate reading, and I really didn’t care if I improve my reading level or not. NOW is a different thing. The Minute I started the 8th grade I knew I would get a chance to discover who I really am and what my hobbies really are. In the 8th grade I have grown and achieved a lot. I can possibly say that I am a more mature person then what I use to be in the 6th and 7th grade. One thing I realize is that I sort of like reading. (Not a lot) but one thing I could say is that if I don’t really like the book I’m reading, I would just not read at all. In better words I like choosing really carefully the book i want to read next. I think that it was okay to declare war against Spain because the U.S took in Cuba.The U.S was helping Cuba with the war because Cuba was a mess. I think it wasn't okay the way the U.S was acting like imperalist, we did help Cuba, but we didn't give them complete freedom. The foreign policy was unfair because it didn't give Cuba the complete freedom we were controlling them a little. The U.S fought against Spain and the U.S won. After that Cuba got a new constitution. The imperalist supported the U.S foreign policy because they didn't believe in people having a choice and people having their own beliefs. 802 has been great since the beginning..Most teachers say that we achieved the most, out of all of the 8th Grade classes....................................802 is not the only class who has developed a lot this year, 801 has also developed a lot too.(No other class behaves, and gives respect better then 802. )  ............................................801,802 and 803 have achieved a lot this year, They've accomplished great blog posts, great projects in all classes.( Spanish :Mi Vida, Science : Fashion show, Humanities :________, (Etc...)803 is not a bad class, 803 just doesn't behave like 801 and 802 do. Most people in 803 are smart people who want to learn, but half of the class, is really rude.There are students that don't care about anything but there selves.( "people who don't care if they get in the way of there classmates learning).......
