My first Poem
Lost
I Lost
A Camera,
A phone, a ring
A bracelet, a flag,
A person
Now it’s all gone.
I lost
A friend,
A great grandmother,
My personality.
I lost
The apple of my heart,
A laptop, a smile,
A cheese cake,
Now it’s all gone.
I lost
Someone really special to me,
And now it’s all gone.
I use to ask myself “how can I ever recover?”
Ooh well
I’m still alive,
I’m living life to the fullest’
Like no one can stop me’
Like I can do anything
In this world,
And that’s all that matter.
I’m not very different
From many teenage girls,
I am a human,
I am definitely special,
I am funny,
I am jolly,
I make mistakes,
I do things I might regret later,
Just like any other
Teenage girl.
I Lost
A Camera,
A phone, a ring
A bracelet, a flag,
A person
Now it’s all gone.
I lost
A friend,
A great grandmother,

I really like the repetition... and I LOVE the first stanza - very simple and direct.
