My First Day of High School

      Today is my first day of High School. I'm really nervous but I'm looking forward to it. In the summer orientation I met a couple of girls, so I'm guessing my first day of school won't be so boring. In my school, (UASBYW) you have to wear Uniform. (Grey skirt, with a white polo and a vergandy vest.) Right now I'm in my way to UASBYW…

      The schools great but the fact that I have to be surrounded by 400 girls every day is killing me. I cannot stand the drama. "But I have to deal with it every day." The cool thing about my school is that every body gets they’re own lockers, we have a dance studio, and every freshmen has a half a day every Wednesday. 10-12 graders get to go out side for lunch. We have a school Library were you can just hang out with your friends and read all you want.
      Clubs available are (Dance, Step, Glee, and track). My favorite classes are Dance and Global. I like dance because in dance all you really have to do is learn a couple of steps and take a quiz every Friday. " Seems pretty easy."  Although there is one thing I don’t like about that class, and it’s that the teacher is obsessed with Latin dances. Ex: (Salsa, the Cha cha cha, Merengue, Bachata.) I know I’m Hispanic and that I’m supposed to love Latin dances, and I do is just that the teacher exaggerates a lot. Some of my class mates say that “She use to pole dance or something, because of the way she dances.”--- (Any ways)… Global is my favorite class because it’s the easiest class of all. In global we talk and learn about the Mediterranean world, and as many countries/states we can possibly get to in a year.
      One advice I give to any body in middle school is, please pay attention in all of your classes because if you don’t is going to hit you in the back really hard. Meaning that the stuff you should of learn in middle your going to have to go through it again but a lot harder. So it’s better if you pay attention in class now so that when you're in High School you get to be in an advanced class.
      I strongly recommend the Urban Assembly School of Business for Young Women, to any young adult out there who wants to be successful some day. Specially the girls in UNMS.
      This post was specially written to you ladies in UNMS, so that you know what to expect on the first day of High School. It is also written to encourage you to be prepared for High School.

Was The Spanish American War A "Just" war?

I think that it was okay to declare war against Spain because the U.S took in Cuba.The U.S was helping Cuba with the war because Cuba was a mess. I think it wasn't okay the way the U.S was acting like imperalist, we did help Cuba, but we didn't give them complete freedom. The foreign policy was unfair because it didn't give Cuba the complete freedom we were controlling them a little. The U.S fought against Spain and the U.S won. After that Cuba got a new constitution. The imperalist supported the U.S foreign policy because they didn't believe in people having a choice and people having their own beliefs.
